Fellow SkidmoreCollege grad John Ubaldo joined me to discuss his amazing life, which is memorialized in his own documentary film, The Bullish Farmer. After losing his best friend in the 9/11 attacks, John traded his finance career for farming. He bought 185 acres of land and started farming like they did in the old days. He's an advocate for "the preservation of food crop diversity and the reduction of chemical fertilizers to help preserve small farms and rural America." Tune in. This may change the way you view your food.

Robert W. Turner II joined me to discuss his book, Not for Long, The Life and Career of the NFL Athlete. We discussed his college and professional football career, including its abrupt conclusion at age 28. Robert found himself ill-prepared for life after football, and after "staggering around" for a decade he decided that it was time to create a new legacy, so he earned his doctorate in sociology and embarked on a career to help athletes and their families in navigating the hazardous world of football. His sociological examination of the sport is designed to assist athletes with the challenges they face so that they can make the most of their experiences and be better prepared to integrate into society after the final whistle blows. Thank you for a great interview Robert. Good luck with the next chapter of your amazing and inspirational life story.
